Why is eating more vegetables a good thing?
They are filling so you stay full longer!
They are higher in fiber so you stay regular!
They help keep your immune system firing on all cylinders!
They are low calorie so can eat a ton of them! This is a biggie is you are feeling hungry often! (exception here is potatoes. They are good for you but naturally higher calorie because they are a starchy vegetable)
They digest slowly and help you with cravings!
Are great for blood sugar, brain, skin, hair, nails and organ health!
The positives definitely outweigh the negatives!
What if you hate veggies? Blend them in a smoothie! My go to is 70 grams of frozen fruit (blueberries, strawberries, mixed berries, cranberries, mango, etc) 30-50 grams of frozen avocado, 30 grams of strawberry protein powder, 100 grams of spinach and 240 to 300 milliliters of unsweetened coconut milk. You can't even taste the spinach! Hope this helps!
