MYFITNESSPAL SETUP GUIDE

Step 1. Enter your Starting Weight and Goal Weight in MyFitnessPal. If you aren’t sure what your goal weight should be, reach out and we would be happy to work through that with you!

  • Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then Goals, then type in your Starting Weight and your Goal Weight.

    • NOTE: if you do this after you set your calorie and macro targets, it will reset those targets to one that MyFitnessPal thinks is right for you. No biggie! You can go back and re-enter the targets we’ve given you by clicking Calorie, Carbs, Protein and Fat Goals and enter them there.

Step 2. Add Coach Burgandy and Coach Trey as a friend on MyFitnessPal so we can see your food diary to give you guidance and connect in one more way!

  • Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then Friends, then click the plus sign at the top right, click Email or MyFitnessPal Username, then type in burinker05 for Burgandy and rink51 for Trey.

 

Step 3. Make sure your Steps aren’t being counted

  • Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then Steps, then make sure Don’t track steps has a checkmark next to it.

 

Step 4. Turn on Diary Sharing

  • Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then click Settings, then Diary Settings, then Diary Sharing, and then click the one of your choice. Public will allow anyone that knows your username to see your diary. Friends only, we will only be able to see your food diary if we are friends.

 

Step 5. Set your week to start on Monday. We will be doing your weekly assessment on

Mondays!

  • Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then click Settings, then Weekly Nutrition Settings, then click Monday.

Step 6. Turn off Track Net Carbs

  •  Click MORE at the bottom of the app, then click Settings, then click Diary Settings, then turn Track Net Carbs off.
